Qarqabu, like her half sister Takute, is a fifth generation descendant of my first Azawakh Jaba through Qarqabu's sire Kusaylah Al-Ifriqiya.  From her dam Nahalet's two litters, Qarqabu was the sole female,  making the decision to keep her rather easy.  Several unrelated strains within her pedigree blended harmoniously to imbue her with archetypal qualities: an excellent format with a short back, long legs, a beautiful head, and a strong character.
