Tobol passed away in September of 2002.  She was the last descendant of my first and beloved Azawakh Jaba that was living with me.  This combined loss instilled a growing sadness in me.  In October I traveled to the states to visit David Moore and his hounds (Azawakh Al-Ifriqiya). He gave me the ten week old puppy Takute as a gift, in part to assuage these feelings of loss, in part as an expression of friendship.

Takuke is the double great-great grand-daughter of Jaba and even if Jaba is far back in the pedigree the return of this line to my kennel has a great personal meaning for me.  In addition, though Takute displays a highly refined phenotype, it is nonetheless the type that appeals to me and that I hope will make a positive contribution to my breeding program.

Takute whelped her first litter  sired by Multi Champion Kassam of Silverdale in May 2006. She was a passionate mother and after two more vain matings, she finally had another litter   ( X litter)   sired by Al Hara´s Vakuru in November 2008
